Diana Morris
biographyDiana Morris was born in India to Canadian parents, and traveled with them as a young person. She lived in India, England Greece and Canada.
She attended Chelsea College of Art, London, and received her London Certificate of Design in Interior Design, and an was elected to The Society of Industrial Artists and Designers. After working for two London architects on Gatwick Airport and St Thomas's Hospital, she worked at the BBC in the Set Design Department. Thereafter her work was mainly in film and television, with highlights such as 'Chariots of Fire," (Set Decorator) 'Death on the Nile' (Assistant Set Decorator) 'Nicolas Nickleby' (Set Decorator) for John Napier. While working at Walt Disney Imagineering as a production designer, Diana was responsible for the placement of artifacts in the Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum. In 1994 she was elected to the Academy of Film and Television Arts & Sciences.
