Mirandala Art & Design are creations from Miranda Black. Taking inspiration from her Mohawk heritage and Buddhist/yogic spiritual practices, these pieces meld to create a unique interpretation of Visionary Art. Living amongst the forests of British Columbia fro several years, Miranda has been inspired by the ecosystem and animals among her, along with the darkness of night.
Seeking higher education in a holistic style, Miranda has been able to work alongside artists such as Visionary Artist Alex Grey and has studied visual arts at Esalen Instatute in Big Sur, California and Hollyhock Education Centre on Cortes Island, BC. Prior to her experience in holistic education, Miranda has been a student of Emily Carr Institute in Vancouver BC, and Dundas Valley School in Dundas, Ontario.
